Meet the faces behind the story

Dive into the lives of the key players who will shape the world of my upcoming novel. Discover their strengths, their flaws, and what drives them. We hope these glimpses leave you eager to see their stories unfold.

Gabriel: The evolving hero

Meet Gabriel, a character whose journey embodies the classic hero's arc. He begins as a naive teenager from a secluded village, oblivious to the greater world. His early struggles are remarkably relatable: unrequited love, parental misunderstandings, and a pervasive feeling of not belonging. As the narrative progresses and Gabriel faces increasing adversity, he undergoes significant transformation. This growth isn't always linear or easy; he grapples with anger and a desire for vengeance. Yet, through it all, Gabriel never fully loses the honourable core of his being. His path will challenge him, but will he rise to meet it, or be consumed by the darkness?

Alistair Flint: The inverted journey

Alistair Flint stands as a stark contrast to Gabriel, a character whose hero's journey was dramatically upended. Having suffered the devastating loss of his entire family, Flint became a man willing to commit terrible acts to achieve his objectives. He is a chilling example of what can happen when one takes a wrong turn on their path, demonstrating the destructive potential of grief and desperation. Intriguingly, Flint is acutely self-aware of his own transformation, often playing up his unsettling and intimidating appearance to manipulate situations and get what he desires. Prepare to be fascinated by the complex motivations of this formidable character.

For a glimpse into the man himself, check out the Prologue, available here:

Worlds Will Collide!

What awaits these two?

We hope you're as intrigued as we are about how Gabriel and Alistair Flint's paths will inevitably cross within the novel. Their contrasting journeys and complex personalities promise a captivating narrative. Stay tuned to discover the full scope of their impact on the story. Will they be allies, adversaries, or something far more complicated?

Caleb: The man who has seen too much

A veteran of a hundred battles, with the scars to prove it. A hard man in every way, cold and distant, and dismissive of our young heroes. He has seen the price of chivalry and would spare those with misguided dreams of achieving honour through heroics from suffering as he has. Despite his outwardly cold exterior, he is the one that cares, and the only one who can prepare them for the coming conflict.
